next Ben Weisman Fred Wise Kathleen Twome Pseudonym: Al Hill Fred Wise (1915–1966), Kathleen Twomey (1914–1995), and Ben Weisman (1921–2007) collaborated under the pseudonym Al Hill, and together with Jenny Lou Carson wrote the popular song ‘Let Me Go, Lover!’. The song was based on an earlier song called ‘Let Me Go, Devil’ about alcoholism. It reached the Billboard magazine charts on December 4, 1954. They also wrote collaboratively songs for Elvis Presley.
