previous            A–Z            next        Barbara Zampini Pseudonym:        Barbara Ramone        Barbara Zampini (1978) was the second wife of Dee Dee Ramone, founding member and bassist for punk rock band the Ramones. On tour in November 1994, Dee Dee met the then 16-year-old Barbara Zampini, a big Ramones fan, while searching for his lost guitar outside the hotel in Argentina.        Barbara Zampini became better known as Barbara Ramone. All of the band members had adopted pseudonyms ending in the surname 'Ramone'. See also C.J.
